WHO WE ARE

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other people of African ancestry. Our core values are friendship, integrity, honesty, service, commitment, family relationships, courage, respect for self and others, legacy, confidentiality, responsibility, and accountability.

Greetings from the President

Berna, Chapter President

On behalf of the phenomenal women of the Greater Clark County Area (NV) Chapter, it is with profound gratitude and deep humility that I welcome you to our website.

We are bound together by more than friendship. We are united by an unwavering sense of purpose and shared commitment to service, leadership, and transformative impact. As Links, we proudly embrace the principles that define this organization – to enrich, sustain, and ensure the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry, while improving the quality of life for all communities we serve.

As President of this newly chartered chapter, I commit that our work will be intentional, impactful, and anchored in excellence. We will honor the legacy of our founders by advancing the five facets of our national programming—Services to Youth; Arts; National Trends and Services; International Trends and Services; and Health and Human Services—with innovation, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

We commit to being visible leaders and trusted partners in our community. We will listen carefully, respond thoughtfully, and act courageously. Our chapter will serve as a catalyst for positive change, addressing critical needs while uplifting voices that too often go unheard.

We commit to cultivating friendship that is authentic and enduring; friendship that strengthens our collective resolve and fuels our service. We recognize that our bond as Links is not incidental; it is essential. Through mutual respect, integrity, and support, we will build a chapter culture that reflects the highest ideals of this organization.

With purpose in our hearts and service as our guide, we commit ourselves fully—to this organization, to our community, and to one another.
